Benfica centre-back Victor Lindelof has given further boost to speculation that has been linking him with a move to Manchester United.
Numerous news outlets, including the reliable Sky Sports, have reported that Lindelof is close to securing a permanent move to the Theatre of Dreams.
Benfica president Luís Filipe Vieira was also rumoured to have traveled to England to get the deal done, and an agreement was supposedly reached between the involved parties.

Furthermore, Robin Blomme, Lindelof’s friend and former teammate, also confirmed the deal via his official twitter account, and added that the 22-year-old will join the Red Devils for a fee of €45 million as soon as the January window opens.
But if these aforementioned reports were insufficient, the man himself has dropped a massive hint of things to come, as per newly emerging pictures on social media.
A lucky Manchester United fan managed to run into the Swedish international, and not only posed for pictures with the talented defender, but also got his autograph on the famous Red shirt.
