Manchester United have been notified they have to fork out £26 million to sign Lazio striker Keita Balde Diao, as per The Sun.
The Red Devils have been searching for every option available with Zlatan Ibrahimovic edging closer to the end of his career.
The Sun believe Diao has been earmarked as a potential summer transfer target for Jose Mourinho. The Senegalese star is also a potential target for AC Milan.

The five-cap Senegal ace has also netted five goals this term, as Lazio push forward to close the gap on Napoli, rivals Roma and league leaders Juventus.
Italian website Calcio Mercato report that the striker is not willing to leave Lazio this month. However, United’s hopes of signing him are boosted by the fact that his agent is Jorge Mendes.
Mendes has been managing Mourinho’s affairs for quite a while, and has previously negotiated deals for the likes of David De Gea, Radamel Falcao and Nani at Old Trafford.
The super-agent is interested in persuading his client to move to the Premier League, and could use his relationship with Mourinho to make a deal happen in the summer.
Keita’s current contract runs until June 2018, but Lazio owner Claudio Lotito is ready to sell his young star, but only if Manchester United are willing to increase their offer.
