Alexis Sanchez Set To Leave Arsenal Following Bust-Up

Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez is desperate to leave the club after being left on the bench for the Gunners’ crucial Premier League clash against Liverpool, according to Daily Mail

Arsene Wenger decided to leave the Chilean out of the lineup that started at Anfield on Saturday, and instead selected a frontline featuring Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck, as the two strikers were more suited to the Frenchman’s crossing and long-ball approach.

Sanchez was sent on as a substitute later in the game, but despite making a good impact from the bench, he failed to spur Arsenal on to victory, and the game ended 3-1 in favour of the home side. And apparently, this result, coupled with Wenger’s decision to omit him from the starting lineup, has put the final nail in the coffin for Alexis.

The former Barcelona star has now made up his mind completely regarding leaving the club at the end of this season. He has been unsettled at the London-based outfit for quite a while, and his poor behaviour was first noticed by the coaching team following the Gunners’ 5-1 thrashing at the hands of Bayern Munich, when the Chile international lashed out and pointed fingers at his teammates in the dressing room.

Sanchez has since been evidently distant from the entire Arsenal squad, and has even had some training ground bust-ups with Arsene Wenger. In fact, the 28-year-old was confronted by his angry teammates after he walked out of a training session last week, and many believe that to be the actual reason behind him not starting against Liverpool.

Wenger seems to have spoken privately with Alexis regarding his recent poor behaviour as well, but that has failed to bring any changes whatsoever in the versatile forward’s attitude, as he is adamant on heading out the exit door come summer.

Bad news for Arsenal fans, but not so much for Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain, who are all set to splurge their financial resources on the superstar to secure his services in the upcoming transfer window.
