Juventus star Paulo Dybala has signed a contract extension with the club until 2022.
The Serie A outfit has announced that the striker has agreed a five-year extension.
The club’s official statement read: “Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that, following the renewal of the employment contract with the player Paulo Dybala until 30 June 2022, the performance bonus of €8 million became due to U.S. Citta di Palermo S.p.A. and will be paid in four installments starting from 2018/2019 football season.”
The announcement will be a huge blow for Barcelona, who were victim of his stunning performance in the Champions League quarter final first leg, as it was thought he could be the ideal replacement for Lionel Messi at the Camp Nou.
Real Madrid, as well as both the Manchester clubs, were also linked with the 23-year old.
The striker joined Juventus from Palermo in the summer of 2015, and has managed 39 goals and 17 assists in 82 appearances for the Old Lady.
