Italian giants Juventus are on a roll, and are set to make their next campaign another successful one.
The Juve fans were given some great news, after it was revealed that the club has managed to get Argentine hitman Paulo Dybala to sign a contract extension earlier this week.
And they have now stepped it up, and have snapped up one of the brightest youngsters in world football.
The club has now revealed that they have completed the signing of the highly-rated midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur.
According to reports, Juventus have managed to lure the 19-year-old star to the club, thanks to a clause on Carlos Tevez’ contract, which gives them the right for the first refusal on a few young stars currently at Boca Juniors.
And it is now understood that the midfielder has completed his switch to Juventus, and will join the squad at the end of the season. Bentancur has signed a five-year deal from 1 July 2017 until 30 June 2022. Juventus have paid €9.5m to the Argentine outfit, for the player’s services.
This will come as a huge blow for Manchester United, who have shown great interest in the player in recent times.
The Uruguay national has a couple of assists in 12 appearances for Boca Juniors this season, and he is expected to spend the first season in Turin, adjusting to the challenges in Italy.
This will represent a huge step in the right direction for Juventus, who are slowly growing into constant European challengers.
