1. Gareth Bale To Manchester United

What’s the story?

According to Spanish outlet Don Balon, current Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale could be set to leave for Old Trafford in the summer, as he is seen as Mourinho’s prime target. And after having suffered an injury driven season at the Bernabeu resulting in only 9 goals and Zidane finding a perfect team without him, it seems like a move that Real will encourage pushing through.

Should the deal take place?

As exciting as bringing Bale to the Theatre of Dreams sounds, the report suggests it might have consequences for Mourinho, as Zidane will then chase after Griezmann to lure him to join Atletico’s city rivals. The French forward has been linked with United since a long time now, and the money spenders will have to decide which left footer to cash in on. With form and stats being taken into consideration, one might think Griezmann is the better choice, but Bale carries prior Premier League experience with him.

Possibility of it happening

Will Madrid being a well oiled machine without Bale at the moment, and Mourinho on the outlook of a forward with pace and goals in him, the possibility of this deal taking place is a healthy 7/10.

2.  Christian Atsu To Newcastle United

What’s the story?

Sky sources have recently claimed that current Chelsea winger Christian Atsu is all set to become a permanent Newcastle player, as his move will be final on the 1st of July, 2017.

Should the deal take place?

After having scored five times in his loan season with Rafa Benitez as they helped guide the club to Premier League promotion, the player became an integral part of the squad, resulting in him being offered a £6.2 million deal at St James Park in the summer. He will be Benitez’s first signing of the season, and given his performances last time around, he will be a good one.

Possibility of it happening

With the deal all but confirmed, there is a 10/10  possibility of it being seen all the way through.

3. Kelechi Iheanacho To Borussia Dortmund

What’s the story?

With Manchester City underperforming this season and Pep ready to go on a shopping spree in the summer, it could result in their current young striker Iheanacho leaving the club, and as per reports from the Daily Mail, Bundesliga is his next destination with Dortmund being the club.

Should the deal take place?

The young Nigerian forward is an impressive player who has been an off the bench impact star at Man City, and despite proving himself with good strong stats in front of goal, he has never really managed to guarantee himself a starting spot in the playing XI in his time at the Etihad so far. With Dortmund offering him Champions League football and definitely much more game time, making the switch is a choice the player should immediately consider making.

Possibility of it happening

With a relatively average price tag of £20 million and the player desperate to step on the pitch to showcase the world his talents, the deal sounds highly probably, and hence, has a 7/10 chance of taking place.

4. Riyad Mahrez and Ben Gibson To Arsenal

What’s the story?

The Express has sparked rumours of a Premier League duo heading to Arsenal next season, as Mahrez and Gibson seem to be on the Gunners’ radar to be brought into London for a combined fee of £55 million. This, however, created bigger gossip, suggesting that Wenger has plans for next season, which implies, amid the protests and disagreements, Wenger will stay.

Should the deal take place?

With Middlesbrough relegated, selling key players for financial aid is a step they might take, and with a chance of joining a huge club like Arsenal, a £30 million deal for Ben Gibson will definitely be worthy to bring a much needed defender to the Emirates. Mahrez, on the other hand, is a brilliant creative player on the pitch, and with Ozil and Sanchez indecisive about their time at the club, securing his services as soon as possible might be a safe bet for Wenger and his plans.

Possibility of it happening

Gibson, being a defender from a relegated team and so highly priced, has a possibility of 4/10 of making the switch, while Mahrez faces a stronger likeliness of striking a deal, with chances being 6.5/10.

5. Alexis Sanchez Welcomed By Edinson Cavani To PSG

What’s the story?

After being all but ripped out of their throne as Ligue 1 champions by Monaco this season and sensationally being knocked out of the Champions League by Barcelona, the PSG owners look determined to strengthen the squad in the summer, and it includes bringing in Alexis Sanchez – a player who Cavani seems all ready to welcome with warm greetings.

Cavani was caught speaking to Canal+, where he said: “If they come, they’re very welcome. We’re here for the team.”

Should the deal take place?

PSG are a team that have not been able to fill the gap left by Ibrahimovic from last season, and with an aim to buy a forward who will guarantee goals alongside Cavani, their targets Sanchez, and possibly Aubameyang, should be reeled in before other clubs come hunting for couple of the best strikers around Europe right now.

Possibility of it happening

With Sanchez’s future unsure at the club and Dortmund offering Champions League football while Arsenal might miss out, the possibility of this deal seems a strong 8/10.
