Ribalta, who is regarded as one of the best in the scouting business, is set to move to Manchester United to help them land exceptional players.

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has confirmed that Manchester United have reached an agreement with the highly rated scouting manager of Juventus.

Ribalta is known for assisting Juventus in recruiting quality players during his time with them. The impressive list of young players recruited by him include the likes of Paulo Dybala, Paul Pogba, and Kingsley Coman. Moreover, he also helped with securing crucial players like Sami Khedira and Dani Alves on free transfers.

Alvaro Morata, another player who is a famous target for Man United in current transfer window, was also brought to Juventus from Real Madrid courtesy of Ribalta. The scouting manager has followed the Spaniard’s career from his Real Madrid Castilla days.

Juventus have bid their scouting manager adieu on their official website, and the staff member also spoke of gratitude towards Juventus.

Ribalta stated: “These have been beautiful years, during which I worked very well. I thank all of the club and especially Beppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici for the confidence they showed in me since day one.”

Meanwhile, Manchester United have offered Ribalta a significant role, where he will be a single point of reference for scouting and recruiting players. Jose Mourinho is hopeful that the scouting manager will repeat his immaculate record of shortlisting best talents across the globe and help United grow stronger.
