Adnan Januzaj is set to complete a £9.8 million transfer to La Liga club Real Sociedad, after having passed a successful medical.
The talented Belgian is finally heading out of Manchester United on a permanent basis after two unproductive loan spells with Borussia Dortmund and Sunderland over the last two years.
According to BBC, Real Sociedad have agreed a £9.8 million fee for the player, who was left out of Manchester United’s squad for their pre-season tour in USA.
Januzaj caught attention as a teenager for his heroics in the dismal season under David Moyes during the 2014/15 campaign. The winger was the standout player for Manchester United that season, which led to many believing that he was the upcoming youth sensation at Old Trafford – a notion he failed to prove right.
After his underwhelming loan season with the relegated Sunderland, where he failed to register a single goal in the Premier League, the 22-year-old was told to find a new club by Jose Mourinho.

Januzaj has now undergone a successful medical with Real Sociedad, and an official announcement is imminent. Reports suggest that the Old Trafford giants have the first option to buy him back.
Meanwhile, the English club continues to prepare for the upcoming season in USA, where they will face LA Galaxy on 15th July as a part of the pre-season tour.
New signing Romelu Lukaku has also trained with the Red Devils, and it is expected that he will make his friendly debut on Saturday.
Club boss Jose Mourinho is actively seeking a few more additions to the squad, with media reports linking Eric Dier and Ivan Perisic to Manchester United gaining strength.
