Inter Milan have convinced Paris Saint-Germain superstar Angel Di Maria to make a switch to Italy this summer, reports FCInterNews.it.

Their star wideman Ivan Perisic’s future has been up in the air for quite some time now, as the Croatian has frequently been linked with a move to England, especially to Manchester United.

Though the Premier League giants had their previous bids rejected by Inter, a deal is soon expected to be completed. The Nerazzurri seem to have ended their efforts to hold on to the player, as his departure to Manchester looked imminent, and his future is expected to be resolved in the coming few days.

Meanwhile, Inter are already in search for a replacement, and have seen potential in PSG winger Angel Di Maria.

The Argentinian had everyone impressed after moving to the French capital, following a rocky season in England. The talented winger scored past the keeper 14 times last season, while laying 8 assists across all competitions.

It’s not surprising to see the Serie A giants approach Di Maria, as his stats are very similar to Perisic. The Italian outfit is confident of luring the former Real Madrid man to Milan, as the club is planning to offer the player a tempting deal.

While Perisic’s move is expected to be completed for a fee of around £49 million, it is still unclear what amount Inter are willing to pay the French side for Di Maria.

Inter boss Luciano Spalletti could be planning something very special, as the idea of Di Maria playing alongside Mauro Icardi is very interesting. Talks are ongoing, and further news can be expected soon in the coming days.
