One of the longest stretched transfer sagas of the summer is finally brought to an end, as Manchester United have agreed a £40 million fee with Inter Milan, reports The Sun.

Following a series of failed bids, Manchester United have finally succeeded to strike an agreement with Inter Milan in order to sign their coveted winger. Ivan Perisic is set to become Manchester United’s third signing of the summer, after Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku.

Jose Mourinho has been trying hard all summer to land the Croatian winger, who he believes will be an upgrade over his existing options like Martial and Lingard

The 28-year-old attacker, who last season scored 13 goals and assisted 10 others, is known for high work rate, good heading ability and use of both feet – traits highly admired by the Portuguese coach.
