According to Spanish football expert Guillem Balague, Antoine Griezmann will look to join Manchester United next season.
In a news what could be music to the ears of Manchester United fans, Guillem Balague has revealed that Griezmann will again look to join Jose Mourinho’s team next year. Notably, the Frenchman was on the verge of moving to Old Trafford this summer, but his proposed move collapsed in the aftermath of the transfer ban on Atletico Madrid.
Manchester United were ready to trigger the release clause of the French attacker, but the player opted to stay with his team in their difficult time. Yet, there have been reports that the 26-year-old will be open to a move to the Premier League giants next summer.
Confirming the reports, Guillem Balague told Sky Sports: “He is with a team which has played in Champions League finals and also won the league recently – more recently than Manchester United – so he is already at one of the top teams in Europe.”
He continued: “He is playing with the fans and he will continue to do that with teasing messages, but it is quite clear he will consider a move to Old Trafford next summer.”
The comments from the Spanish football expert will excite Manchester United fans cross the globe, who have wanted to see the attacker play for their club. As reported earlier, Griezmann was also involved in a twitter activity with Manchester United fans, which suggested that he regrets not joining the Red Devils.
