FIFA 18 is set to take the world by storm, and the gaming universe is lining up queues for it already. Alongside many sought after new features and improved changes, an aspect that stands out in the new version of the game is the way major transfers are dealt with.

The process involves detailed meetings and conversations with the managers, players, and agents in order to complete or discuss the possibilities of any deals involved. This new addition has the fans going wild, and one of them gave the world a glimpse of what goes down if an extremely high level transfer is chased after.

A Youtuber named ‘BCHD Gaming’ conducted an experiment in the game, wherein he tried to pursue Neymar, and he dared to do it with Real Madrid. When approached, PSG decline a move for their star man in January 2018, with a message that read: “The club recently acquired the player so they aren’t looking to negotiate his leave.”

This does make perfect sense, as the club broke the world record to recently add the Brazilian into their ranks, and even in real life, the Parisian giants will not be willing to let go of him anytime soon.

However, the gamer did re-approach the French side in January 2019, and the move saw success. Unai Emery ejected the initial offer of a £150m, but settled for a deal worth £208.1m.

The final deal also included a sell-on clause of 5%, a 5-year contract with wages adding up to £330,800-per-week, and a signing bonus of £15,600,022 – the highest that can be offered. Add to that a £300m release clause, and that is all one needs to turn a former Barca hero into a Madridista in FIFA 2018.
