Italian club Lazio have confirmed that several offers lie around the corner for star player Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
The promising midfielder, who has earned respect and is considered as a bright prospect, is being monitored by both Manchester clubs. However Sergej will not come cheap, and the club has confirmed that they have offers upwards of £62 million for the Serbian international.
Lazio have started well this season in the Serie A, and are not keen on selling their star asset. The club got the player to sign a contract extension six months earlier, and look confident on retaining him despite some substantial huge offers.
Lazio’s Director of Football, Igli Tare, told Premium Sport (via Calciomercato) that they have received offers on the higher bracket, but the player seems happy in Rome and could be set to stay there.
“It is the pitch that decides the player’s price-tag. We have received several offers for him. We have received offers exceeding 70million euros (£62m) but not from Juventus. He signed a contract extension six months ago and that means that he is happy here,” said Tare.
