Man United officials, including boss Jose Mourinho, have always been on the best of terms with widely known personal agent Mino Raiola.
However, it now seems as if the man who had helped the Red Devils secure multiple high-profile deals will be the hindrance in their pursuit to sign Inter Milan’s latest find, Davide Merola.
The Inter youth product is becoming a popular name among scouts who are constantly on the lookout for rising talents. Merola’s performances for the Nerazzurri u-19s have earned him the interest of the Old Trafford outfit, according to Calciomercato.
However, the report also revealed that Raiola could be the key for the Italian giants in their attempt to keep hold of the young prospect. The infamous agent has no intention of helping Mourinho’s side force a move for the forward, and will likely see him stay in Milan.
On the other hand, whilst the relationship between the Italian and the Serie A outfit grows towards a positive end, it may end up deteriorating his contacts in Manchester.
Nevertheless, the negotiator has managed to play vital roles in the signings of Paul Pogba, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and is probably someone the United tactician should stay on the good side of.
As of now, Raiola’s aid to the San Siro outfit is at its peak, and he has been rumoured to be the source of all the high-profile transfer links to the Italian side recently.
