Jose will continue to be at the helm, as the club seeks the Premier League trophy besides the Champions League, and believe that he is the one that can get them to the top.

United won three trophies last season under Jose, and the Europa League win saw them get a direct ticket to the Champions League. The club has qualified for the knockout stages this season, and will face Spanish outfit Sevilla in the round of 16.

Besides Europe, they are also alive in the FA Cup, and are second in the domestic league campaign to show that the season could bring in more cheer.

United have a decent shot at finishing in top three this season, and although a 12-point gap atop sees them trail rivals Man City, they could end up ahead of Chelsea and Liverpool. It will be the first time in five years that the club could actually finish in top three.

Jose’s future earlier at the club was a source of speculation, with reports stating he could be on his way to Paris Saint-Germain by the end of this season.

But the manager has quashed all rumours and reportedly penned an extension, as he believes Manchester is his home for the coming years at the least.
