Sometimes, when a club goes through a rough patch, bringing in a quality player could boost their chances of turning the season around, or at least improving enough to get back to the top.
Real Madrid talisman Cristiano Ronaldo is hoping for exactly that, as he hopes to bring David De Gea over to the Spanish capital through some sneaky routes.
The Man Utd star has been a long-term target of the Galacticos, and they have monitored his situation at Old Trafford for more than a couple of seasons now.
Multiple attempts have been made to secure De Gea’s services, but Real’s closest grab at him failed due to an out-of-order fax machine.

But this time around, things are looking to boil down to a more complex pulp, as the Red Devils have reportedly decided to offer the talented shot-stopper wages worth £350,000-a-week to commit his future in Manchester.
On the other hand, though, Ronaldo is busy pulling his strings at Old Trafford to change the outcome of that contract proposal, according to Diario Gol.
The Portuguese is said to be a huge admirer of the Spaniard, and has asked his club’s president, Florentino Perez, to swoop in before any positive developments in England start to take momentum. It was also reported that the ex-United superstar still has reliable contacts at his old club.
However, the latest contract offer may just be enough to keep the 27-year-old in England, and Los Blancos may miss out on their ideal goalkeeper yet again.
Should that happen, Chelsea star Thibaut Courtois is also a great alternative on the Spanish giants’ shortlist.
