Yerry Mina has impressed the supporters in the two months he has been at Camp Nou, despite enjoying fewer appearances than his quality demands.
Nevertheless, the South American defender was involved in Wednesday evening’s Catalan Super Cup match against Espanyol, in which his side secured the victory through penalties.
The victory may not have had too much significance compared to other upcoming games for the club, but the Colombian undeniably enjoyed to the fullest, with his performance on the pitch and the show he put up in the late moments of the game.
The talented figure was seemingly among the three players who operated for the entirety of ninety minutes, along with Paco Alcacer and the goalkeeper, Jasper Cillessen.
Moreover, he later took a shot in the penalty shoot-out, which he ended up converting for his side after Alcacer and Sergi Palencia both bulged the back of the net.
However, disregarding the goal, the 23-year-old enticed the attention of supporters with a moment of his steps, which resulted in bestowing a cheerful spell over the faithful. His goal was splendid as it was, but his next act caught even the coaching staff by surprise.
Nevertheless, when asked about the dance he showcased after scoring just a penalty, he expressed his comments in the newspaper Sport.
“I promised my family that I would enjoy my first goal and I did it. I am happy for playing another game at this marvellous club,” the young figure stated.
