Pogba’s future has been up in the air over the last couple of weeks, having suffered a massive decline in form that has also led to a rumoured falling out with Jose Mourinho.
Questions have been raised about where his best position really is, and whether United really do look a more stable side without him in the team.
The Frenchman has seen his place come under serious threat from academy product Scott McTominay, who has been brilliant over the last few weeks, and has earned Mourinho’s trust.

With all these issues in mind, reports have now suggested that the player could be angling for a move away from the club.
This could be the perfect scenario for United if they decide to sell the 25-year-old, and it appears as though they are set to demand Marco Verratti in return.
The Red Devils have been tracking Verratti for years, but have been very unsuccessful in their attempts to sign him. This could prove to be the perfect window of opportunity to sign him.
However, it does appear as though the Mancunian giants are keen to stick with Pogba for now, and help him get back to the form that once saw his name heralded amongst Europe’s best players.
