Marouane Fellaini’s future at Manchester United appears set to come to an end.
The Belgian’s future was a constant issue for the whole of last season, and it seems like United have ultimately failed to convince him to sign a new deal.
The Mancunian club was determined throughout the 2017-18 season to tie him down by offering a new contract, but the player rejected the same on two occasions. And now, it is being said that another new offer was turned down by the midfielder.
According to a report in Press Association. the former Everton man rejected United’s most recent offer, which was said to be in the region of £140,000-a-week.

Therefore, after having seen out his contract that ends in July 2018, he will be in the market as a free agent.
Last season, manager Jose Mourinho stated several times that the Belgium international is of huge importance to the club, and it is between the two parties (club and the player) to sort issues.
The gaffer had also added that he was hopeful that Fellaini will stay put at Old Trafford. But there have been constant suggestions since a lot of time that the Belgian is set to leave United, and will seek a new club.
The 30-year-old has made up his mind to leave the club and find new pastures. He wants regular game-time, which at United, won’t be a familiar story.
The Mancunian club announced the signing of Brazilian midfielder Fred, and the player is set to take Michael Carrick’s place. With Fellaini now going, it remains to be seen whether Jose will get in another player as a replacement.
