Manchester United‘s latest signing, Diogo Dalot, was seen in crutches at a recent event.
The 19-year old completed his dream move from Porto in the early days of this summer. The Red Devils spent £19 million for the young right-back, who Jose Mourinho considers the best in Europe.
However, reports suggest that the player completed his medical while recovering from an injury. In fact, photos from earlier today confirmed that the reports were true, as Dalot was seen moving around in crutches.

Initially, it was thought that Dalot had an ankle injury, but further investigation confirmed that it is actually a slight knee injury.

According to The Sun, United’s medical staff has advised him to make use of crutches, as they don’t want him to put stress on the injured area.
They are confident that the player will be back before the side leaves for the pre-season tour in America.
Manchester United were aware that Diogo Dalot wasn’t fully fit before he gave his medical, but the club decided to go through with the examination nonetheless.
The Mancunian outfit’s fans were shocked after seeing the photos of Dalot in crutches. Some of them even took to Twitter to express their concern:
Swear United is cursed. Both our signings get injured days after signing
