Juventus have submitted an £88 million bid for Cristiano Ronaldo, which Real Madrid are said to be considering.

Cristiano Ronaldo started transfer rumors when he talked about his uncertain future after Real’s Champions League victory over Liverpool. A return to Manchester United seemed to be on the cards, but Jose Mourinho hasn’t been keen on signing him.

Now, sources in Italy have confirmed that Real Madrid have received an offer from Serie A champions, Juventus.

Gonzalo Higuain had an average season last term, at the Old Lady outfit is keen to pounce on one of the best players in the world to strengthen their attack.

Cristiano Ronaldo has proven his quality in two different countries. The Portuguese captain has won everything in England and Spain, as well as a Euro title on the international stage. Somehow, the World Cup has eluded him, as he missed out once again this summer, when Portugal were knocked out by Uruguay in the round of  16.

According to reports, Real Madrid are fed with the Ronaldo’s attitude. The 33-year old has asked £1.35million-a-week in daily wages, which is outrageous for a player of his age.

Florentino Perez immediately rejected it, and is willing to sell the player, as the experienced forward seems to spoil the atmosphere in the dressing room.

Los Blancos are considering Juventus’ offer, as it is in their ball park, according to sources close to BBC. But there is a possibility for some competition coming in, especially from Manchester United.

With Ronaldo on the move, Real will move in for Paris Saint Germain‘s Neymar. The Brazilian forward is said to be unhappy at the French capital, and Perez considers him to be the right person to fill Ronaldo’s boots at the Bernabeu.
