According to Tuttosport, Juventus could make a sensational move for their former star Paul Pogba this summer. But this move will materialize only if they offload one of their midfielders.

Miralem Pjanic is said to be available for the ‘right price’ over the course of the summer. Juve are supposedly interested in shipping him out to the prospective suitors, and could use the obtained fee to reclaim the star Frenchman.

Pogba scored 34 goals in 178 appearances through his 4 years in Turin. Juventus officials feel that he could thrive in the Serie A in his next stint.

But with Pjanic occupying the France international’s role ever since his departure, the former needs to be slotted elsewhere in order to accomodate Pogba’s playing time.

Barcelona and Manchester City are, speculatively, the two clubs most likely to table a bid. The Bosnian has admirers in high places in both clubs’ setups. Juventus would be willing to work with Pjanic’s representatives to arrive at the best outcome for all parties, provided the club receives a serious offer this summer.

The report also gives a glimpse into the Old Lady outfit’s transfer policy this summer. Having a squad studded with stars from top to bottom means that Juve would be much more open to a tempting bid for one of them.

Juve have signed Emre Can on a free transfer from Liverpool. Giangiacomo Magnani and Andrea Favilli arrived from Serie B sides Perugia and Ascoli respectively. Cristiano Ronaldo, their blockbuster acquisition, was actually the 7th player to be added to the roster over the summer.
