Jose Mourinho seems to be fighting a lone battle at the moment, and his opponent is basically everyone.
The Manchester United boss has been surrounded by the media day in and day out lately, and he never seems to be running out of responses.
His latest tactics have seen him attacking opposition managers, and Jurgen Klopp was his latest victim. Mourinho demanded ‘respect’ from the journalists after his 0-3 loss to Tottenham, but his rants did not end there.
When asked if he was still a great manager, he replied by stating: “Of course. Do you ask that question to the manager that finished third in the Premier League or fourth?”

The Manchester United manager was then asked about Klopp’s claim of not labeling himself as great, to which Mourinho replied: “Because he never win anything international, for example.”
This statement from the United gaffer created a stir in the media and got the internet going crazy. All eyes and ears have since been on Jurgen Klopp and what his reply would be like.
The Merseysiders’ boss did recently come out and talk about his incident, by stating: “I don’t watch Jose Mourinho press conferences, should I?”
An answer that defines Klopp, containing a hint of wit, sarcasm, and being to the point.
The two clubs meet in the Premier League in December, and if United’s current form does not change with immediate effect, it is highly likely that Klopp will be facing a different man in the Red Devils’ dugout.
The words have been said, the blames thrown, and Liverpool still sit atop the table, while United continue to try their best to enter the top half.
