Amid speculation over the future of one of Manchester United‘s most influential midfielders at the moment in Paul Pogba, several reports now claim that another unsettled Frenchman could be in the sights of one of Europe’s heavyweights.
Anthony Martial has grown increasingly disillusioned with life at Old Trafford, and especially so under manager Jose Mourinho, who has left him on the bench more times than the winger would have liked.
The constant substitute appearances not only hampered the youngster’s chances at United, but also resulted in him being left out of France’s World Cup-winning squad a couple of months ago.
This, coupled with public disgruntlement with the regime at the Red Devils, has made Martial a hot property in Europe, with top clubs eyeing the star. Juventus are no different, but they would be willing to let this season pass before making their move.

CalcioMercato report that the Serie A giants will wait it out this term in order to let the 22-year-old play out his existing contract that expires in June 2019. This would make him a free agent, and wouldn’t cost the Italian champions any money while signing him.
Juventus used this technique successfully just this summer window, when they managed to prise Emre Can from Liverpool on a free transfer.
Having already signed Cristiano Ronaldo this season, the Bianconeri look like one of the continent’s most impressive teams on paper.
Pogba has also been linked with his former employers lately, and though he does remain the high-profile move the club would want to seal, Martial wouldn’t be a bad option for Juve, as they look to fulfill their desire to become Champions League winners again.
As for United, the 13-time Premier League champions are desperately trying to tie down their star to a new contract, but given Martial’s concern over playing time, that won’t be an easy task at all.
