The Blues took the lead through Anthony Rudiger in the first half. United, who were less ambitious in the first 45 minutes, took the game head on and scored twice to take a lead with Anthony Martial getting a brace.
But the hosts made most of the 6 minutes they received in added time, with Ross Barkley scoring the equaliser to make it 2-2 with seconds left on the clock.
Here’s how the Red Devils fared during the encounter at Stamford Bridge:
David de Gea: 6
Had no chance to save the opener, but made an excellent save to deny a goal-bound strike from N’Golo Kante and also Rudiger, but couldn’t stop the second.
Ashley Young: 6
Was alert for most parts of the game, and maintained the defensive shape.
Chris Smalling: 6
Didn’t do much wrong and covered the lines.

Nemanja Matic: 4
Had a disappointing first 45 minutes where he was clumsy. Was much better post half-time.

Andreas Pereira: 4
Was brought on to bring some calmness in the latter moments as he ran tirelessly.
