Karim Benzema has informed his friends that he is eyeing a move to Manchester United or PSG.

Real Madrid are having a terrible time this season, as they appear to be struggling to cope up with the loss of Cristiano Ronaldo as well as Zinedine Zidane.

After a thumping 5-1 defeat in El Clasico, Florentino Perez is reportedly furious, and set to make some changes at the Bernabeu in the coming weeks.

Madrid’s real problem lies in its frontline, as Karim Benzema hasn’t been able to perform up to the mark for a long time. Perez has been trying to bring in a forward for the past few years, but has been turned down by several big names in Europe.

With the club in crisis, Benzema is unlikely to stick around for long, and could be shipped away soon. The French striker has seemingly accepted the fact as well, and is preparing a list of clubs where he wants to go next.

According to a report in Sport, the striker has informed his close friends that he is eager to make a move to Manchester United or Paris Saint-Germain next summer.

Both PSG and United are in the market for attacking options. Jose Mourinho needs a striker who could provide backup for Romelu Lukaku, while PSG could lose Edinson Cavani in the upcoming transfer window.

In fact, the report does suggest that the reigning Ligue 1 champions are already aware of Benzema’s interests, and are in contact with him over a possible switch.

But the Frenchman still has 2 years on his contract, meaning Real Madrid will hold tight and part ways with Benzema only if they get the price they want.
