Manchester United look set to offer Patrice Evra an ambassadorial role at the club.

The Frenchman has been a constant presence at Old Trafford lately, as he was frequently seen attending numerous Manchester United games along with club vice-executive, Ed Woodward.

First-team coach Jose Mourinho has also shown a lot of faith in the former left-back, handing him the freedom to visit the Red Devils’ dressing room area.

Evra’s consistent presence had led many sources to believe that the Mancunian outfit was considering him for the brand new role of the director of football. But now, a new update seems to suggest otherwise.

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United seem to be already in discussions with Evra regarding an ambassadorial role.

The former club captain, who won 5 Premier League trophies and a Champions League title with the Reds under the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson, is quite a beloved figure at the Theatre of Dreams.
