Youri Tielemans has boosted the speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United.
The Foxes are reportedly interested in signing the Belgian international on a permanent basis this summer, with manager Brendan Rodgers having stated the following: “I’m sure the club [Leicester] will do everything they possibly can to bring him in.”
However, as per the reports coming in from England, Manchester United are set to compete with Leicester City for the 22-year-old’s services.
The Red Devils supposedly see Tielemans as a potential replacement for Paul Pogba, with the French superstar expected to secure his dream move to Real Madrid this summer.
Now, the youngster himself has given strengthen to this rumour, by admitting that he feels “flattered” by the reports linking him to Manchester United as well as Champions League finalists Tottenham Hotspur.
“Flattered by Man United and Spurs interest? Yes, they are really big teams in England and in Europe,” said the starlet. “To hear those names gives me confidence. I just try to play my game on the pitch and try my best.”
Where does this talented youngster’s future lie?
