Manchester United displayed a dramatic victory over Tranmere Rovers in the FA Cup 4th round, scoring six goals by six different players along with securing a clean sheet.

With five of them being registered in the first half, the United fans are currently surprised over the top. The scoresheet was updated by Harry Maguire, Diogo Dalot, Jesse Lingard, Phil Jones, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood.

Greenwood netted in the only goal of second half by converting a penalty won by Tahith Chong. Interestingly, the supporters have noticed something peculiar about the shot which was placed at the back of the net by the teenager.

The 18-year-old has been occasionally compared to the likes of legendary Robin van Persie, mostly for the way he handles the ball with his left foot. However, the youngster surprised the fans by scoring the penalty with his purportedly weaker foot; right leg, making it 6-0 for his side.

The attempt showcased huge audacity from the Englishman, trying to take a penalty with the weaker foot, especially when playing for a big club like United. Regardless, it was discerned that there’s a reason for the star’s preference of right leg for spot kicks.

Back in October 2019, the young asset had stated in United’s official website: “I prefer my left foot, just about, to my right foot [as the stronger one]”

“Actually, it happened when I was in the Under-13s. I missed with my left foot against City when I was struggling in a game and ever since I’ve just gone with the right foot.”

Nonetheless, it’s a great time watching teenagers enjoy emergence in their football career. The Englishman has been performing phenomenally well for United and as long as he converts the penalties, there won’t be any issues from the manager’s end as well.
