England international Harry Maguire is being heavily linked with a big-money transfer this summer, with Manchester United rumoured as one of the possible destinations.
The Leicester City defender had impressed largely for England at the FIFA World Cup 2018. The determined central defender claimed that he wants to play at the highest level.
With Jose Mourinho said to be looking for a solid player at the back, Maguire comes as a handy option for the Manchester United manager.
United have been linked with a move for Toby Alderweireld, but Tottenham Hotspur continue to demand a huge sum for the experienced Belgium international.

Maguire is four years younger than Alderweireld, and could therefore be an attractive option for the Mancunian club. In an interview with The Sun, the 25-year-old went on to claim that every player wants to play at the highest level and that he’s is an ambitious person.
“Every player wants to play at the highest level. Leicester have been unbelievable to me and I’m really happy there, but I’m also an ambitious player and everyone wants to play at the top,” said the centre-back.
The player joined the Foxes in 2017, and has since gone on to be a vital cog in both club and country setups.
Leicester will not be willing to let Maguire go, especially after losing Riyad Mahrez to Manchester City. But if any of the top clubs come in for the player with a massive bid, one may see a move happening.
Mourinho will need to act quickly if he wants a strong defensive option going into the 2018-19 season, as the window is set to slam shut on August 9.
