How much will Manchester United sell Andre Onana for

Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana appears to be counting his final days at the club.

Brought in to fill in the shoes of David de Gea, who served between the sticks for well over a decade at Old Trafford, Onana has turned out to be a very underwhelming signing, to say the least.

The ex-Inter Milan star’s erratic shot-stopping and lack of box dominance have frequently cost United over the past two seasons. Most recently, Onana received backlash for his horror show against Lyon in the first leg of the Europa League quarter finals, as he was at fault for both of their goals in Thursday’s 2-2 draw.

Since the start of the last campaign, the Red Devils’ number one has made eight errors leading to goals in all competitions, the most of any keeper playing for a Premier League club.

Speculations surrounding his long-term future have further intensified following Ruben Amorim’s decision to exclude him from his squad to face Newcastle United on Sunday. It remains to be seen if Onana will return to the starting lineup for the second-leg clash with Lyon.

Manchester United open to selling Andre Onana

According to The Mirror, Manchester United are ready to listen to offers for Andre Onana during the summer transfer window.

It is claimed that the Cameroon international is expected to generate “further interest from the Saudi Pro League.”

The Premier League giants supposedly expect to raise £20 million from Onana’s exit. The 29-year-old moved to United for a fee in the region of £44m in 2023.

United are prepared to push a number of underperforming first-team stars out of the club in their bid to boost Amorim’s transfer budget.

The sale of Onana, who is on £120,000-a-week, should help the Mancunians sign a new goalkeeper.

Heading into the summer, United have reportedly shown interest in Royal Antwerp’s Senne Lammens, AC Milan superstar Mike Maignan, and Burnley talent James Trafford.
