Manchester United continue to get linked with a centre-back this summer, and as per reports, three defenders have been lined up for the upcoming season.
The Mancunian giants have been linked with Tottenham’s Toby Alderweireld and Leonardo Bonucci of AC Milan, besides Leicester City’s Harry Maguire.
Manager Jose Mourinho is believed to be intent on strengthening his side at the back, and knows he will have to cough out a massive sum to get either of the trio.
Reports claim that a deal for Maguire could come for around for at least £65 million. The Leicester City defender had impressed largely for England at the FIFA World Cup 2018.

With Jose Mourinho said to be looking for a solid player at the back, 25-year-old Maguire comes as a handy option for the Manchester United manager.
United recently sold versatile defender Daley Blind, and are also reported to be set to lose Matteo Darmian in the upcoming weeks.
But they are still loaded at the back, with 5 major central defenders in their ranks. Therefore, it’s essential that the Portuguese sells one of his players to get a new one.
It remains to be seen whether Jose decides on selling either of Marcos Rojo, Eric Bailly, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones or Victor Lindelof to make room for a new central defender.
United have signed just three players so far, and reports claim that another player may soon be on his way to Old Trafford. Will a centre-back arrive before the transfer window closes on August 9?
