How Mourinho Reacted To Luke Shaw’s Stunning Assist vs Spain
England and Spain were set against each other for a classic show at the League A match of the UEFA Nations Cup that was held at the Wembley.
The Three Lions went ahead in the 11th minute after Marcus Rashford scored the opener. He was set up by his fellow Manchester United teammate Luke Shaw. The left-back, who has been in prime form this season, was menacing down the left side.
His play and vision to find Rashford impressed Jose Mourinho, who couldn’t hide his satisfaction. The two Manchester United players synced well off a brilliant team move at Wembley, in front of their club boss.
Shaw was set free down the left flank from a pass by skipper Harry Kane. The former Southampton sensation then got the perfect pass for Rashford, who slotted the ball into the net past David de Gea.
The reaction on Jose’s face was telling. He was left to admire the neat work by two of his players, and he will surely be hoping for such moments at Old Trafford as well.
Fans on Twitter were quick to notice the same.
