Swedish outfit Ostersunds FK are interested in signing Ravel Morrison from Lazio, report Sky Sports.

Morrison was touted for greatness ever since his youth academy days at Manchester United, with the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson himself dubbing the player as “the best kid you will ever see”.

However, disciplinary issues and a lack of proper attitude led the the midfielder’s downfall, and after being let go by the Mancunian giants, Morrison has failed to make a decent impact at any club since.

Having had loan spells at Birmingham, QPR, and Cardiff throughout his career, his last stint in England was with West Ham United, until he left the London club to seal a free transfer to Lazio in 2015.

The England U21 international tried to make his mark in the Serie A, but was far from successful. He played just four league games for the Rome-based club, before being sent out on loan to Atlas Guadalajara last season.

The 25-year-old’s spell in Mexico consisted of 23 appearances and 2 goals, and he has since returned to Italy after the expiry of his loan.

Now, the well-traveled player is being targeted by Swedish club Ostersunds FK, who intend to make a move for Morrison come January.

The report adds that Lazio are prepared to let go of the midfielder as soon as the winter window reopens – either on loan, or on a permanent basis.
