Icardi’s Wife Gives Away Crucial Information

Inter Milan striker, Mauro Icardi, has been linked with a transfer away from Italy for the past month. His wife, Wanda Nara, has just given away some crucial information as to where the striker may end up before the conclusion of this transfer window.
Icardi is all but confirmed to leave Inter, after his wife (and agent) was involved in a public argument with Inter Milan’s sporting director, Piero Ausilio. Mauro’s wife claimed that Inter were trying to sell her husband in a bid to raise funds for the club.
Nara also claimed that a host of clubs are waiting to secure the Argentine’s signature, including the Gunners.
She posted an update on Twitter, which read: “#calciomercato” – translating to “transfer window” in English – indicating that Inter has placed the 23-year-old up for sale.
Arsenal are believed to be looking for an attacker, after Arsene Wenger’s side failed to pose an attacking threat during their last season’s Premier League campaign.
Sky in Italy have also reported that there has been contact between Arsenal officials and Mauro Icardi – with a meeting scheduled to be conducted this month.
Icardi’s wife dropped another hint on the Argentine’s future, when she posted a tweet that read: “Feliz dia a mis Amigos <3” – which translates to “happy day my friends.”
It is not so much the message, but her location that reveals some crucial information. The update was posted when Nara was in London – meaning that Icardi’s agent may have been in a discussion with Arsenal representatives.
Napoli are also believed to be interested in the 23-year-old Argentine, as their current striker – Gonzalo Higuaín – is being linked with the likes of Juventus.
Gonzalo Higuaín may soon be on his way to Turin, after Manchester United complete the €120 million signing of Paul Pogba.
Mauro Icardi has made 88 appearances for Inter Milan since 2013, scoring 47 goals in the process.
