Messi Could Part Ways With Barcelona Because Of This Particular Reason

Messi might be ready to sensationally leave Barcelona if financial matters are not resolved and wage requirements are not met by the club.

With Barcelona under the pump of financial bills and money matters to be resolved, the wage demands of Lionel Messi could be a huge factor the club might not be able to cope with in the near future.

With Messi being the best player in the world according to many, and turning Barcelona into the best club, it would be stupid of the team to let him go, and one would suggest drastic measures such as selling off half the team and playing with empty benches to keep Messi happy and at the Camp Nou for years to come.

Barcelona are at 70% wages expenditure limit, and Messi’s obvious demands of being the highest paid player at the club is a huge cause of concern.

Oscar Grau, Barcelona’s director, said: “We want the best players but perhaps we have to prioritise. We have to make the numbers add up, One option is to increase our revenues, as our economic strategy forecasts.”

However, as a football fan would think, Barcelona, in their right minds, would never let Messi go. With no player probably better than him on the planet, and his contributions to the team week in week out, FC Barcelona should go all out and put their hands deep in their pockets to make the Argentine stay, before interested European giants make any shrewd move.
