Hazard: Conte Is Better Than Mourinho
Chelsea star Eden Hazard has revealed why he thinks current Blues boss Antonio Conte is better than Jose Mourinho.
Having played poorly under Mourinho last season, the Belgian is now back to his best again, thanks to a renewed role in Conte’s team. In fact, not just Hazard, but the entire team has been flying this term, and the London giants currently sit atop the Premier League table with a 9-point lead over second-placed Spurs.
Amid Conte’s revolution at the Stamford Bridge outfit, Hazard has revealed why he believes Chelsea are a better team under the Italian than they previously were under the Special One.

Speaking to Sky Sports pundit Thierry Henry, the 26-year-old claimed: “In tactics and training we do more with Conte. We work a lot of tactical positions and we know exactly what we have to do on the pitch, where I have to go and where the defenders have to go.
“We know exactly what to do. With Mourinho, he put in a system but we didn’t work lots. We know what to do because we play football, but maybe the automatisms were a little bit different.”
But despite this claim, the Belgium international believes Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United – who sit 6th in the league table at present – are one of Chelsea’s closest competitors in this season’s title race.

“I think Arsenal and Manchester United [are our biggest title rivals],” he said. “United had a bad first part of the season and I think for a couple of games now, they played well. They drew against Stoke, but they have good players and the squad is very good. The manager is good, so they will be second or third.
“Tottenham also are strong. We lost there, but for me it is more Manchester United. They are more experienced. That is my opinion, maybe I’m wrong.”
