Spanish superstar David de Gea is reportedly unhappy with the criticism thrown at him by Jose Mourinho recently.

The first choice shot-stopper for Manchester United, David de Gea, has been their best player in the last couple of seasons and has been in terrific form this season as well.

He has generally been spotless at Old Trafford but in the last couple of games, he has been a bit sloppy, which even cost the Red Devils a couple of points. The 26-year old was dropped from the game against Sunderland for what Mourinho revealed was a hip injury.

In the game against West Brom earlier this month, De Gea almost gifted a goal from a Darren Fletcher effort and backed it up with a cheap give away against Everton, that needed a late Zlatan penalty to steal a point for United.

The manager spoke about his error against West Brom and downplayed it but reports from the M.E.N today suggest that the player is unhappy with the comments made by his manager.

Mourinho, speaking after the West Brom game, said, “David de Gea was sleeping and he did the funny thing at the end,”

“I was laughing with that,” he added.

However, none of the rumors have any real strength as Mourinho himself revealed that De Gea is expected to be fit for the game against Chelsea in the Premier League at the weekend.

Speaking before the game against Anderlecht in the Europa league, Mourinho revealed that Romero is ready for the challenge and went on say that De Gea could be back for the Chelsea game.

It’s good for Sergio Romero to play before Brussels,” Mourinho said. “De Gea will probably be fit for Chelsea, yes. If he’s in good condition.”
