Manchester City are reportedly looking to make a move for PSG’s Serge Aurier this summer.

The Ivory Coast international’s representatives have gotten in touch with a number of European clubs, including Manchester United and Barcelona, to secure a move away from Paris.

The right-back has been in and out of the Paris Saint-Germain squad this season because of his fluctuating form as well as disciplinary issues off the field.

It is expected that City manager Pep Guardiola will look to completely overhaul his defense this summer. That might potentially mean that Pablo Zabaleta or Bacary Sagna, who have both been linked with West Ham United, will leave in the summer, opening the door for Aurier.

The Sky Blues might have to battle Barcelona for the defender, though, as the Catalan side has had no consistent performer in the position since Dani Alves left for Juventus.

It will be interesting to see if City indeed try and sign Aurier, with Guardiola a very strict disciplinarian. The player has been suspended multiple times, both by his club and UEFA for disciplinary issues. He has publicly abused referees and teammates in the past, something no club would take lightly.
