Real Madrid To Consider Selling Injury Prone Gareth Bale

Gareth Bale, who recently made a comeback from a lengthy injury lay-off, is out again for a month with fresh injury in the El Clasico.

According to Diario Gol, Florentino Perez has lost patience with the injury prone Gareth Bale, and might look to sell him in the summer.

Bale limped off with a calf injury in the first half of the El Clasico, which was eventually won by Barcelona. Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane took a heavy risk in playing the unfit player, who looked out of sorts before coming off injured.

Gareth Bale was recruited as the long term replacement of Cristiano Ronaldo, but now it seems that Real Madrid are ready to ditch the former Tottenham man in search of a new star.

Manchester United have been interested in the services of the Bale for a long time now, and Old Trafford would be the likeliest destination for the Real Madrid record signing.

Since Gareth Bale cost a world record fee of £85 million when he joined Real Madrid, Los Blancos won’t be looking to sell him on a cheap.

Is it time for Real Madrid to give up on the Gareth Bale project? Or does he deserve more time? You tell us.
