Hazard Tells His Friends He Wants To Join Real Madrid This Summer
Eden Hazard has reportedly told his friends he wants to play for Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain in the future.
The Belgian international has been in stunning form this season, scoring 15 Premier League goals, including one against Southampton in a 4-2 win on Wednesday.
His form has put him on the radar of every top European club again, with the most significant of those being Real Madrid. It has repeatedly been rumoured that Real president Florentino Perez admires Hazard, and is keen on bringing him to the Spanish capital.
The La Liga outfit seems to be in need of a proven winger, with Gareth Bale’s injuries keeping him out of many games. Amidst this, Belgian magazine Voetbal has reported that Hazard has already told his friends that he wants to move to Real at the end of this season.
The 26-year-old had earlier stated that he would only leave Chelsea after winning another league title – a scenario that will probably come true this season, as Chelsea sit 4 points ahead of 2nd place Tottenham with 33 matches played.
The report further adds that Hazard also dreams of joining Ligue 1 giants PSG in the future. The Paris-based club has also been linked with the winger, albeit less frequently.
The report’s source quoted Hazard as saying: “My plan, winning the title with Chelsea and being voted the best player of the Premier League, after which I want to sign at Real Madrid and win the Golden Ball. Then I want to finish my career at PSG.”
