Marco Verratti Names The Club He Would Have “No Problem Joining”

Marco Verratti is one of the most sought after midfielders in the world, but it seems he has his heart set on Juventus.

Be it Barcelona in Spain or Chelsea in England, Marco Verratti is in demand everywhere. The Italian, who is plying his trade in the French capital with PSG, has no shortage of suitors, as he is already seen as one of the most gifted and intelligent midfielders of his generation.

PSG have affirmed from time to time that the Italian wizard is not for sale, yet his agent suggested that that midfielder might be on the move in near future.

Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, the player’s agent stated: “He has a very good contract until 2021. He wants to win and PSG, like it is, cannot win. He has been in Paris for five years now and he has to make a decision: earn a lot and not win or earn and become a champion.

“It is not a problem of money. Whoever signs Verratti will pay him a lot of money. One thing is certain: if he leaves PSG, it will be for a top European club” he added indicating a transfer away from PSG is very much feasible.

With top European clubs in hunt, Marco Verratti holds a move to his country Italy close to heart. He recently said, “Italy has a great league. Two teams like Inter and Milan, or Juventus, are capable of spending. We have seen that with Higuain.”

Verratti himself confessed of his love for Juventus soonafter, by saying: “Juventus are one of the four best teams in the world. They have progressed a lot. If in the future I leave PSG, I would not have any problem in going to this club, but today I am good where I am.”
