Mourinho Rejects Keylor Navas As A Part Deal For David De Gea
Real Madrid have been rebuffed in one of their attempts to sign David De Gea, as Jose Mourinho is unhappy with a swap deal.
Zinedine Zidane, the current Real Madrid manager, is looking to add some star players to his squad at the end of the season, and is set to replace Keylor Navas in goal. The 30-year-old has not been at his best this season, and Zidane is convinced that he needs to be replaced this summer.
The French boss has been looking at some of the biggest names in Europe, and Manchester United’s David De Gea is right at the top of his summer wish list. In fact, Zidane is ready to facilitate the deal by offering cash as well as a player, and he has proposed an exciting swap deal with the Red Devils.
According to Spanish news outfit Don Balon, Zidane wants Navas to join Manchester United, as it would help reduce the fee for De Gea this summer. However, the report also claims that Mourinho has rejected the offer straight away.

Manchester United are determined to not let De Gea leave for anything less than £60m at the end of the season, which will be a record fee for a goalkeeper. But Zidane, who is convinced that the Spanish international is the right man for the job at the Bernabeu, is not too worried about the price tag.
The Los Blancos manager is keeping his options open, and has looked to offer United an immediate replacement for their star man between the sticks this summer.
But with Navas clearly not at his best this season, Mourinho is happy to look elsewhere, and demand the whole £60m from Real Madrid for his sensational Spaniard at the end of the season.
