Cristiano Ronaldo To Real Madrid Fans: ‘Stop Whistling At Me’

Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo was seen asking the Real Madrid fans to stop whistling at him after an incredible hat-trick against Atletico Madrid in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Los Blancos welcomed their local rivals Atletico Madrid for the first leg of the UCL semi-final, after having beaten Bayern in the previous round. The crunch derby was all set up for the big occasion, wherein Cristiano Ronaldo grabbed the headlines by coming up with three unanswered goals on the night, and took his team a step closer to the finals.
This was his seventh hat-trick on the European stage, and it was a night to remember for the 32-year old, who continues to stand tall as the top goalscorer in the competition.
Speaking after the game, Ronaldo revealed that he hates when the fans of his own club whistle at him, and wants them to stop. The superstar has been whistled by the home ‘support’ at the Bernabeu throughout the season, and he revealed that it is not something that goes down well with him.
“I repeat once, I just want you not to whistle me,” Ronaldo commented towards his fans. “I’ll try to give the best as always.”
He also conveyed the same message directly towards the Santiago Bernabeu faithful during the celebration of his third strike on the night.

Ronaldo further went on to say that it was important for him to score goals, but felt that his team were also tremendous on the night, helping themselves to a 3-goal advantage before their second leg tie at Vicente Calderon in a week’s time.
“The team has been tremendous. It was my turn to score the goals, but the team was phenomenal. It was a perfect match, we have a good advantage, but it’s not over. Atletico are very good, but we must be careful on Wednesday,” the Portugal captain added.
RealMadrid are back in action this weekend, when they travel to Granada to improve their chances of winning the La Liga title.
