France national team manager Didier Deschamps has urged Monaco starlet Kylian Mbappe to resist the temptation of joining a bigger club any time soon.

The 18-year-old striker is in huge demand from the biggest of clubs across Europe. The likes of Arsenal, Real Madrid, Chelsea, and PSG have shown strong desire to sign him, and it is believed that Monaco have already rejected an €85m offer from Manchester United.

Mbappe has been in blistering form for Monaco across major competitions like Ligue 1 and the Champions League, and the inside forward has scored 26 and assisted 6 goals already this season. Recently, the French wonderkid put Borussia Dortmund’s defence to sword, when he scored in both legs of the Champions League quarterfinal.

The ridiculous numbers that Kylian Mbappe has achieved at a tender age of 18 contribute to the notion that the striker will leave Monaco for a bigger club in the summer. However, the man who recently gave Mbappe his first national cap for France, has advised the Monaco man to stay where he is.

“From my experience, I’d say he should stay at Monaco for further development,” said Didier Deschamps in an interview with L’Equipe (via insidefutbol).

It’s obvious that the France coach fears the fact that Mbappe might not get as key a role at bigger clubs, like Real Madrid and Manchester United, as he gets at Monaco.

Will Mbappe pay heed to his national team coach’s advice? We will know in the summer.
