Alexis Sanchez Will Snub PL Clubs For A Move To Bayern Munich
Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez’s preferred destination has been revealed, and it comes as bad news for Premier League clubs.
The Chilean winger joined Arsenal from Barcelona due to lack of game time at the Camp Nou, and has since become the talisman for his current club. He has been in tremendous form for the Gunners since the start of the previous season, and has been their best player in the current campaign.
However, lack of progress at the Emirates has seen the 28-year old get unsettled in recent times. The Gunners have failed to lift a trophy yet again this season, and are in danger of missing out on Champions League qualification if they do not finish the season strongly.
And if they fail to do so, they are all but sure to lose Alexis Sanchez in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Arsenal are ready to offer him a new contract, but the former Barca man is already attracting interests from Premier League clubs likes Manchester City and Chelsea, who are ready to pounce on him.
But according to reports today, the Chile international would rather prefer to move out of the Premier League if he quits Arsenal.
French news outlet Le Parisien claims that Sanchez wants to join German giants Bayern Munich, and the Allianz Arena is his most preferred destination this summer.
However, the story also claims that he is excited at the option of linking up with Pep Guardiola yet again at Manchester City, and is also open to a move to PSG, Chelsea, and Inter Milan.
Sanchez will have just a year left on his contract at the end of the season, but Wenger is happy to keep him until his deal with the North London clubs runs out. Therefore, it might take close to €40 million (£33.7m), a value at which Arsenal rate him, to lure him away from the Gunners.
Where do you think Sanchez will play his football next season?
