James Rodriguez Plays His Last Game At The Bernabeu
James Rodriguez came off in the 62nd minute when he applauded all corners of the Real Madrid support before making way for Casemiro.
The Colombian superstar was subject to some special applause at the Bernabeu as he, himself, applauded the entire stadium while coming off in Real Madrid’s 4-1 win over Sevilla. The mutual appreciation between James and Madridistas had the look of a proper farewell for an outgoing player.
The game was virtually stopped for a minute as Casemiro waited for an emotional James to finish his applause directed towards all sections of Bernabeu.
The Real Madrid attacker has found his playing time very limited this season under Zinedine Zidane. The likes of Gareth Bale, Isco, Asensio, and Lucas Vazquez have all moved up above James in the pecking order at the Bernabeu.
James Rodriguez tried to fight for his place at Real Madrid, but even after impressive performances in several matches, he failed to make the cut.

The disappointed Colombian international has now decided to move on, and his next destination will be Manchester United, with agreement for summer move already in place, according to Colombian Radio station RCN.
Interestingly, the Real Madrid boss refused to admit that James has said his goodbyes.
In the post match presser, Zidane said: “James is here [now] and we have a long way to go yet. We are thinking about this end of the season, with three games left, two in La Liga, one in the Champions League. I do not want to talk about anything else.”
