Betting on James Rodriguez’s transfer to Old Trafford has been suspended by the bookies, indicating the transfer has been finalized.

The transfer of James Rodriguez to Manchester United is being considered “almost done”. There are numerous reports surfacing that the move could be sealed as soon as the coming Sunday.

Well known bookmakers Ladbrokes are sure of the transfer, as they have stopped accepting any bets on James to Manchester United. The Real Madrid playmaker’s move was 1/10, and it now seems like just a formality to be concluded.

Ladbrokes’ Dave Burin said (via the Sun): “Rodriguez joining United looks like a certainty, so all we’re waiting for now is the sight of the midfield maestro posing with the famous red shirt.”

Colombian Radio Station Caracol has further fueled the notion, by insisting that the transfer will be confirmed on Sunday after the final La Liga game of the season.

Earlier, James Rodriguez was given a standing ovation by the Bernabeu in Real Madrid’s 4-1 win over Sevilla – suggesting that the Colombian international has played his final game at the Bernabeu in a Madrid shirt.

James has not been a part of the plans of Zinedine Zidane. He has had to sit on the bench while the likes of Isco, Asensio, Vasquez and Bale have played in front of him. Frustrated with the lack of playing time, the Real Madrid attacker was not left with much of a choice but to leave the Los Blancos.
