Juventus Join Race For Yannick Carrasco
Juventus are set to compete with Manchester United for the signature of Atletico Madrid’s Yannick Carrasco in the summer.
Carrasco is one of the most exciting wingers in world football right now. The 23-year-old is having a great season for Atletico, as he has managed to score goals in double figures for the first time in his career.
Manchester United – who have been keen on the Belgian for a long time – will now need to compete with Juventus, as they have also arrived in the market for the Atletico player, reports suggest.
Yannick is one of the flag-bearers of the Belgian talent factory that keeps on producing gems. Manchester United have had the Atletico attacker scouted on a number of occasions, alongside his partner in crime, Antoine Griezmann, who is also a target for Jose Mourinho.

Juventus have also shortlisted Carrasco as one of the potential signings for next season. The Italian giants are keeping tabs on Bayern Munich’s Douglas Costa, Federico Bernardeschi of Fiorentina, and Monaco’s Thomas Lemar as well.
The interest from United and Juventus, however, could be cooled off by Atletico Madrid’s reluctance to sell their Belgian asset. The latest transfer ban complication can further augment Atletico’s resolve of not selling the star players, as they might not be allowed to replace them.
Los Rojiblancos are fighting to get their transfer ban lifted, which was imposed by FIFA on their transfer activities for the year 2016 and 2017 due to broken rules on international transfers of players aged under 16.
