Angel Di Maria Planning A Return To Real Madrid
Angel Di Maria might be finding his way back to his ex-club Real Madrid to fill in the empty spot if James Rodriguez moves to Manchester United.
The Argentine was sold to Manchester United soon after winning the ‘La Decima’ Champions League three years ago.
The move was essentially made in order to fit in the Colombian starlet James Rodriguez, who had shined in the World Cup, costing Los Blancos upwards of £60 million.
Despite his reputation and quality, Di Maria failed to make a mark in the Premier League at Old Trafford with Louis van Gaal as manager, and hence, moved to Paris Saint-Germain just after a season in England.

He enjoyed success with PSG, but the Parisian club’s dominance came to an end this season, as Monaco snatched the Ligue 1 title away from them. Understandably, PSG are looking towards the transfer market to bolster their chances of winning the title next season, and boost their chances at the European stage as well.
The former Benfica star has scored 15 goals in 44 games for the Parisian outfit this season, and has 8 assists to go with the same.
Real Madrid players are also very keen on getting the 29-year-old winger back to the Bernabeu. According to reports from Spanish outlet Don Balon, captain Sergio Ramos as well as talisman Cristiano Ronaldo have been trying to persuade Real President Florentino Perez to sign the PSG star after the Champions League final against Juventus.
But, the report continues to state that the player would first like to set up a meeting with Perez before taking the talks any further. There is understood to be some ego-clash and pride hurt, as the Argentine apparently blamed the president for having to move away from the Spanish capital in the first place.
If the move does pan out as intended, it would be history repeating itself – Di Maria moving to Manchester United to make space for James Rodriguez, and 3 years later, James Rodriguez moving to Manchester United to make space for Di Maria.
Apart from Manchester United, several other English clubs are currently trying to get a hold of the Colombian winger, including Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, and Liverpool.
